Kobold Riding A Weasel, the Cursed Thing

The question is what do you, or should you, think about the presence of cursed things like the poison spirit? I want to point out, the presence of Loa in the game ought to make it possible to interpret a creature like this as a kind of half god, because the reality is that the overwhelmingly cursed aren’t particularly easy to discern from near gods. The poison elemental, if that’s what we call it, is essentially immortal and in control of its own little universe. The players haven’t yet seen a thing like this before really, a creature that is cursed to remain forever beyond the experience of mortality, and impossible, therefore, to really hurt or save. The closest they’ve seen were Begun and Begone—and they were Loa.

Here’s the obvious read: the kobold—it was likely originally a kobold—betrayed Kurtelmak, by associating with the Drow. Kurtelmak then cursed the poor little bastard by turning him, forever, into a poison creature. He, thereafter, was cursed until he managed to perform some task, and that is that.

Check for player’s secrets if I think your character might have more to say…
